“It was quite a disappointement, with the exception of the monastery in the mountains, at the second stop the manager of the temple was very rude to us and I guess it was because our guided hadn't scheduled our visit, the last stop in town was ok, but nothing special, so considering the overall experience, it wasn't a good one.”

“This was a good trip, although there is a lot of time spent on the road. The tour guide was very knowledgeable, but we couldn't really hear him towards the back of the minibus (no microphone). We also would have benefitted from an accompanied visit with explanations from the tour guide to the ruins and church at Veliko Tarnavo- we didn't really know what we were looking at until we googled it. Also, the trip to the village of Arbanassi was cancelled due to a road closure. Despite this, we made the best of it and had an enjoyable day; a good chance to look at Bulgarian countryside.
